How to Understand Physics?

Many of us wish to achieve top grades in physics. With these tips, you'll be on your way to excelling in the subject, God willing.

First: Learn the Basic Principles Every Physics Student Should Know

  • One of the challenges students face is memorizing physical concepts.

My advice today is to remember each concept or term through its mathematical relationship. Here are some examples:

  • 1. The Concept of Speed: Speed is the distance traveled per unit of time.

Speed = distance/time  v = d /t

                                                               (m /s)

  • 2. The Concept of Kinetic Energy: Kinetic energy is equal to half the mass of the object multiplied by the square of its speed.

Kinetic energy = half the mass x the square of the velocity Ek = ½ m v2   ( Kg .m2 .s2  ) ( j )

  • 3. The Concept of Acceleration: Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity over time.

Acceleration = change in speed/change in time    a = ∆ v / ∆ t     (m /s2)

By memorizing both the concept and its corresponding formula along with the unit of measurement.

you will find studying physics much easier.
